Video reviews from the 2015 first weekend

After the first weekend of Nightmare Before the Nutcracker, we asked audience members what they thought of the show and filmed their reactions. We had Beetlejuice (Steve Bradley), Edward Scissorhands (Chris Murdoch), and the Mayor (Red Heartbreaker) do the interviews.

SHINE Fundraising Milestone

Wow, folks. We're almost at $6000 in our SHINE IndieGoGo campaign! Just $30 more clams to reach that milestone. Your generosity is truly amazing. To celebrate, we're releasing a new video from the 2010 production of SHINE.

In this video - The Perversions of Yesteryear - Shine Mionne reminisces about the days before computers when you had to leave your home and venture out into the night to find other pervs to get into trouble with. This song is on the heavier side. Darkly humorous in places. Also NSFW.

If you haven't heard, I will be playing guitar in this live-music production in 2016 and I'll be the Musical Director. I saw this show some years ago in Vancouver and absolutely loved it. I'm thrilled that I can now get to be a part of this show and that it will have live music this time!

Behind the Nightmare Before the Nutcracker

Producer/Director Chris Myrdock and Musical Director Red Heartbreaker were on ShawTV this week talking about our show Nightmare Before The Nutcracker.

We could not be more proud of this show and of this tremendous team of stellar, insanely skilled people. The show starts this weekend at the Rio Theatre! Tickets at http://www.riotheatretickets.ca

SHINE clip In Your Hand

Thanks for all the donations we've received for our SHINE IndieGoGo campaign so far! To celebrate, we'd like to share with you a lovely number from SHINE in Seattle 2010. It's called "In Your Hand."

In this number, a gender studies grad student named Grace (Gemma Isaac) asks burlesque queen Lulu Von Doozy (Adra Boo) for advice on how to dance.

I can't wait to play guitar on these songs.

Please consider kicking in a few bucks to support SHINE. If you don't have the dough right now please "like" and share the link to our SHINE IndieGoGo campaign.
