Who is Blue?

Blue has been teaching guitar lessons for over 14 years from his studio in East Vancouver. He specializes in teaching beginner and intermediate levels in the rock, blues, folk, and country genres.

He is the author of three guitar instructional books including "Guitar Soloing Like a Pro."

His YouTube channel, GuitarLessonsVancouver, has been growing rapidly since he started creating regular guitar lesson videos in September of 2022.

He also has a popular Patreon site with hundreds of guitar lesson videos, tabs, jam tracks, and more.

Blue is also a working musician, currently performing and recording with Canadian country artist Taylor-Rae. Their full-length album was released in 2019.

His first album of original music, "Unlikely Rockstars" was released September 2016.

Performance highlights include touring Western Canada with Taylor-Rae, performing on the main stage at the Boots & Hearts Festival, The Vancouver Jazz Festival, Vogue Theatre, performing at the Burlesque Hall of Fame (Las Vegas), Tease-O-Rama (San Francisco), Windy City Burlesque Festival (Chicago), The Vancouver International Burlesque Festival, River Rock Casino, Edgewater Casino, Maple Ridge Jazz Festival, The Cellar Jazz Club (Vancouver).
