Pink Flamingo Burlesque combines live music with burlesque by some of the most talented burlesque performers in Vancouver and beyond. It's a high-energy, sexy, and funny experience with a big dose of VavaVoom.
The show features burlesque acts by Shaboobie Boobarella, Valentina Virago, and a host of guest performers carefully chosen for each show. We aim to tickle your senses and open your eyes to a new frontier of musical cabaret.
The Burlesque
Pink Flamingo Burlesque is one of the few burlesque groups today that have burlesque performances set to live music -- the way it was done originally. Each show features Shaboobie Boobarella and a rotating line-up of guest stars chosen by Shaboobie.
For every show, she plans on knocking your socks (and jocks!) off with some high-concept, high-energy theatrical shenanigans.

The costumes alone are incredible, many of which are hand-made by Shaboobie and other performers. Shaboobie is always busy sequining, sewing, shimmying and showing off in preparation for each show. Sets, bubble machines and choreography are all ready to roll!
The Music
The Pink Flamingo Band is a 6 piece band that will make your hips swing, your shoulders shimmy, and your pants fall to the floor.
This incredibly versatile band include a wide variety of styles in their repertoire -- a collection of songs that inspire the burlesque performers to bump, grind, and swing.

The styles of music they play include saucy swing, sexy lounge, rockin' surf, and calypso. This includes everything from Elvis to Harry Belafonte.
The band is managed by guitarist Blue Morris and fronted by the talented and beautiful Red on vocals. Other instruments include horns, bongos, keyboards, bass, drums, and others as required.
Pour yourself some gin, put on something sexy, and get ready to dance!
Theme Shows
The orchestra... wow! Remember that "Family Guy" episode when Peter wishes he had a soundtrack for his life and everywhere he goes there's music playing... if I had to pick a band that would play the music wherever I went, it would probably be the Pink Flamingo Orchestra. They really were freakin' fantastic!

Most of our shows are based around a single theme so that all the burlesque performances and the music fit within that style. Going to a themed show makes you feel as though you've stepped into a different world, or a different time -- from the costumes to the decorations to the theatrics!
